At Treat Kitchen, we love partnering with businesses that share our passion for delighting customers. One such partnership is with Nottingham's beloved Broadway Cinema, an independent venue that has been entertaining film enthusiasts for decades.
A Cinematic Gem in Nottingham
Located in the vibrant Hockley area, often dubbed "the Soho of Nottingham," Broadway Cinema boasts a rich history. The building began its life as the Broad Street Wesleyan Church in 1839, designed by architect S.S. Rawlinson. Over the years, it was transformed into a hub for film lovers, officially becoming Broadway Cinema in 1990. Notably, it's the only cinema in the world with a screen designed by Sir Paul Smith and has hosted premieres for international filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino and Shane Meadows. Our founders Martin, Jess and Tom are regular visitors…
Martin and Tom enjoyed the Indiana Jones and Star Wars events
Jess and her daughter Lottie went to see – Wicked and Muppet Christmas Carol.
A Sweet Collaboration
In their quest to offer patrons a unique and enjoyable experience, Broadway Cinema chose to stock Treat Kitchen's 90g Sour Pots and Sweetie Milk Cartons. These products provide a delightful alternative to generic cinema snacks, perfectly aligning with the cinema's independent spirit. They have proven to be a really popular choice with regular re-stocks needed.
Sour Pots: A Zingy Treat
Finally a gummy sweet that is actually sour! Our 90g Sour Pots come in four tantalising flavours: Grape, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, and Apple. Each pot is packed with a zingy punch that's sure to tickle the taste buds. Plus, they come in recyclable and reusable packaging, making them an eco-friendly choice for conscious consumers.
Sweetie Milk Cartons: Nostalgia with a Twist
New to the market, our Sweetie Milk Cartons radiate joy and positivity. Inspired by the classic milk carton silhouette, we've added eye-catching colours and quirky slogans to create a product that's the perfect mash up of nostalgic and modern. Inside, you'll find sweetie favourites like pick n mix, fried eggs, gummy bears, and fruity rings, appealing to a wide audience of confectionery fans. These cartons are ideal as a gift or as a snack to enjoy during a film, offering an attractive alternative to standard sweet bag. They've even been featured as add-on gifts in greetings card retailer Scribbler! Keep an eye out special Easter and Christmas editions, which add a festive touch to the range.
A Partnership That Keeps on Giving
The introduction of Treat Kitchen's products at Broadway Cinema has been met with enthusiasm from Notts cinema fans. The unique flavours and fun packaging enhance the overall cinema experience, leading to regular restocking to meet demand. This collaboration not only provides moviegoers with delightful snack options but also reinforces Broadway Cinema's commitment to offering something different in an independent setting. "Working with Treat Kitchen has been a fantastic experience. Their sweets have been a huge hit with our customers, adding a fun and nostalgic touch to the Broadway Cinema experience. As Nottingham’s favourite independent cinema, we love partnering with local businesses that share our passion for quality and community, and Treat Kitchen delivers on both."
