Calling UK Charities - we have the perfect gifts for your online store this Christmas...

Why Food Gifting Works for Charity Online Shops - and How Treat Kitchen Helps Drive Income

As charities continue to diversify their income streams, online gift shops are playing an increasingly important role in fundraising. Supporters want meaningful gifts with great presentation, strong values and real impact - and that’s where food gifting can truly shine.

At Treat Kitchen, we specialise in delicious sweets, chocolate and gingerbread gifts that are designed to perform strongly within charity online shops while providing an attractive return for fundraising ranges.

Gifting your supporters genuinely love Food gifting is one of the most reliable online shop categories, particularly during peak seasonal moments such as Christmas, Easter and Mother’s Day. At Treat Kitchen, we create high-quality, eye-catching gifts that supporters are excited to buy and proud to give.

Our collections include:

· Confectionery and sweets

· Sustainable Gifting

· Seasonal best-sellers

· Vegan, Halal and Gluten Free choices

· Our much-loved gingerbread range, including the iconic Gingerbread House Kit, a consistent festive favourite year after year

Everything we produce is created with retail performance in mind - strong visual appeal, giftable formats, and dependable fulfilment. Customers love our joyful, eye-catching designs all created in house by our talented designer and illustrator Izzy.

We’re especially proud of our charity collaborations, where thoughtful product design helps tell a story and deepen supporter engagement.

This year, we’ve partnered with RSPB, two of my favourite festive products have to be:

· Our Gingerbread Robins Decorating Kit, celebrating nature through festive creativity

· Our “Seasons Sweetings” Message Bottle, combining traditional gifting with storytelling

These products were carefully developed to align with RSPB’s mission with great sales potential designed to maximise supporter engagement.

We also love creating bespoke designs our local charity partners. A great example is our collaboration with Base 51, where we developed a bespoke “Ay-up Bottle” — inspired by the Nottingham greeting “Ay-up me duck!”. This personalised message bottle gave supporters something locally meaningful, unique and fun, while strengthening the charity’s brand identity through gifting. It featured vegan sweets thus appealing to a wider audience.

Proven success and reliable fulfilment

Treat Kitchen is already a trusted partner to charity retailers including Scout Store and Isobel Hospice, and our experience extends beyond charitable retail.

As well as high street names, garden centres and department stores we also supply via Direct Dispatch with major platforms such as Next Online, Freemans, and Not On The High Street, meaning we’re highly experienced in:

· Dropship fulfilment

· Managing seasonal demand

· Delivering a smooth, reliable customer experience

For charities, this removes operational complexity while ensuring high standards of service.
