Last Thursday evening I spent a very enjoyable evening at the East Midlands PA Awards.
Organised by the amazing Daniel Skermer and his team the awards appreciate, recognise, and celebrate the incredible achievements of Executive & Business Support Professionals across the East Midlands business community.
This year they received over 170 nominations in what is only the second year that the awards have run in the East Midlands. Treat Kitchen were delighted to be sponsoring the award for Independent Virtual Assistant of the Year. Congratulations to all the finalists and especially to the winner Sarah Szekir-Papasavva.
I had previously taken part in the judging process for the Rising Star and PA of the year Awards. It was a fantastically uplifting experience listening the achievements of all the participants. And I was delighted to see the winners collect their awards in person at the ceremony.
The awards were held at the stunning Athena venue in Leicester which was perfect for the 1920s Great Gatsby theme. It was a fantastic chance to celebrate the amazing finalists across 9 categories. I really enjoyed the entertainment courtesy of the talented The host Adam Joyce had me and my table in stiches. It was a pleasure to be in the company of Shas Ruparel and Manesha Ruparel who gave me plenty of support as I nervously went up to present our award.
Treat Kitchen had once again teamed up with some fantastic Nottingham businesses to create the winner’s prize hampers so shout out to Castle Rock, Half the Story, and Stewarts of Trent Bridge for contributing to these fantastic hampers. Your dedication and excellence make you the perfect partners for anyone looking to give the gift of Nottingham’s best.
