Treasured by millions as one of Britain's most beloved children’s characters Paddington™ first appeared in 1958 in the book ‘A bear Called Paddington’ written by Michael Bond. It only took him ten days to write the book! Since then, Paddington has gone on to feature in plenty of books, star in blockbuster films and even have tea with royalty!
Paddington is known for his kind-hearted nature, always seeing the best in people. Though he was born in Peru he was welcomed into the Brown family when they found him at Paddington Station in London. Paddington’s Aunt Lucy had attached a luggage tag with the instructions to “Please look after this bear. Thank you”.
The team at Treat Kitchen are delighted to be launching our new licenced Paddington collection this Autumn. Our designers have captured the character and charm of Paddington in a selection of delicious treats and gifts. First to arrive will be our hollow chocolate figure, a must-have gift for any Paddington fan. The Paddington milk chocolate coin is a great add-on gift or stocking filler. Then for those cosy autumn afternoons enjoy a Paddington hot chocolate bomb in the shape of his iconic vintage suitcase. I cannot wait to curl up and enjoy these treats whilst watching my favourite Paddington Movie (Paddington 2 – Hugh Grant makes the perfect baddie!). We hope you'll enjoy these treats as much as we enjoyed creating them.
