At Treat Kitchen, we believe in the power of creativity, collaboration, and having a little fun along the way—so when Jess, our Brand Director, had the chance to visit the King’s Trust Explore Programme in Nottingham, she jumped at the opportunity!
The Explore Programme is a fantastic four-week initiative that helps young people develop new skills, build confidence, and connect with others. During Jess’s visit, she met an amazing group of 12 participants who brought energy, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to the table.
After a brief introduction to Treat Kitchen and what we do, Jess invited the group to step into the creative world of New Product Development (or NPD for short!). The challenge? To help us redesign the labels for our vegan sweets bottles with quirky, memorable slogans that match the playful vibes of our regular range.
And wow—did they deliver! From hilarious puns to clever wordplay, the young people came up with some truly inspired ideas. We don’t want to give too much away (no spoilers here!), but we’re already imagining some of their suggestions on our shelves in the near future.
We loved seeing how engaged the group was, bouncing ideas off one another and even designing mock-up labels. Their enthusiasm reminded us why community is at the heart of what we do. The best part? Every single idea will be shared with our Treat Kitchen team. Who knows, you might see a bottle with one of their brilliant slogans on it very soon!
A huge thank you to the King’s Trust Explore Programme for welcoming us and to all the young people who took part. Your creativity and teamwork were inspiring, and we hope you enjoyed the session as much as we did.
