Double Impact is a Nottingham based charity that supports people who's lives have been affected by addiction. They offer a unique service that deals with all the issues facing recovering people, helping to break the devastating cycle of addiction. 

Double Impact aim to rebuild people's lives through a collection of services and initiatives; 

• Personal development programmes to strengthen recovery and build self-efficacy
• Bespoke education, training, volunteering and employment schemes
• Mutual aid groups and networks
• Safe spaces which foster mutual respect, peer support & a sense of community.

Double Impact run the amazing Cafe Sobar on Friar Lane in Nottingham. With  delicious food and a fantastic welcoming atmopshere it really is a great place to meet friends and family in the city. It was through Cafe Sobar that Martin and Jess met the Double Impact team. They saw how the local community were benefitting from the hard work and dedication of the organisation and wanted to get TTK involved.

TTK Confectionery have worked with Double Impact for a number of years, taking part in the Return to Work Initiative. This programme assists service users in securing work placements and supporting them as they return to long term employment. 

TTK have welcomed sixteen Double Impact Service Users into the business offering them work experience in a variety of areas. Five have gone on to become vauled team members. 

TTK have previously raised money for Double Impact by running the Robin Hood Half Marathon. This year TTK were delighted to receive an award at the East Midlands Charity Awards for Outstanding Charity Support from an SME for the working with Double Impact.
