As we begin to wind down in the lead up to Christmas and the New Year, we like to take this time to reflect on all that has happened in this past year – and what a year it has been for all of the team at TTK Confectionery. Below are just some of the many highlights of the year!
We started the year by attending ISM as a team of nine where we discovered lots of new suppliers which we used to execute most of our Christmas ranges this year! ISM was also a great opportunity to catch up with current suppliers and customers.
During the first lockdown we landed a successful range into Sainsburys and have since become part of the Sainsburys Future Brand initiative and secured a 12-month contract with them!
Amidst a global pandemic we managed to launch a beautiful range in Debenhams – this was a complex and brand new selection of products and category types for us but we thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and we have produced a range that we think looks better than any other in the market.
Our warehouse team packed a record number of our signature message bottles this year (3,744 in a single shift!) and passed the SALSA audit with flying colours!
Towards the end of this year we launched our B2C website which has exceeded all our expectations and produced great sales for us during the Christmas period!
Throughout the year the TTK Confectionery team have picked up numerous awards. Our head office team won Team of the Year at the Enterprising Women Awards and more recently we have won 3 awards in the East Midlands Chamber Nottingham Business Awards! Warehouse Manager, Leah Binney, won Young Professional of the Year. CEO, Martin Barnett won Entrepreneur of the Year and TTK won Small Business of the Year for the second year running!
We have finished what has been an uncertain year on a high, and this last week has been all about spreading some Christmas cheer. We have given over 5,000 festive gifts to as many people in the local community as possible including local schools, food banks and the NHS! Here at TTK we recognise this year has been difficult for many and wanted to show our support for those in need and give thanks to everyone who has provided vital services to the community this year.
As we wrap up another successful year here at TTK, we wish all our customers and suppliers a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We are so excited to see where 2021 will take us!
