The new year has bought a lot of change to Treat Kitchen. Our Victoria Centre store is sadly closing very shortly. Although this is a sad end to a brilliant chapter, we encourage everyone to head over to our store in the remaining weeks to say a last goodbye (and make the most of our sale!). This however means you will have to look elsewhere to find us within the Nottingham community.
Look no further than Sneinton market, where you will find our bakery ran by the talented Fran! With one door closing, this one is opening at an exciting time for Treat Kitchen. Our bakery had its launch party last Friday, in line with Nottingham’s ‘Light Night’ celebrations. Since Fran has joined the Treat Kitchen team, she has been working incredibly hard to come up with lots of fun ideas for the bakery.
You may recognise Fran from TikTok where she has been streaming live tutorials on how to use our cake mixes and baking bottles. These have been extremely fun to make and watch, so keep your eye out on our socials for the next livestream. Our TikTok and Instagram have also given a glimpse into the joy that can be had within the bakery, and a sneak peek at the workshops we run over in the market!
We are aiming to hold more workshops in the creative space at Sneinton Market. The bakery is fully equipped to get you baking lots of tasty treats in workshops, kids parties and corporate events (stay tuned for more information on these!). Fran is currently working hard to set up our enjoyable valentines’ events, which include Galentine’s Affirmation Cookie and Love Bug Cake workshops, as well as a ‘wine tasting and chocolate making’ evening. We have workshops for everyone so check out the poster for more information on how to sign up!
