Our Packing Facilities and Warehouse: SALSA Approval, Glass Packing and More!

Did you know, across the whole of 2019 TTK Confectionery sold one unit every 20 seconds?

We do the majority of our packing and fulfilment in-house from our Nottingham site, where we have a semi-automated, SALSA accredited, Packing Facility and Warehouse. Our team have special expertise in hand packing which extends to packing into glass containers and packing mixed fills!

SALSA is a robust and effective food safety certification scheme which is appropriate for smaller food producers and processors. It’s written by experienced food safety experts and approval is only granted to suppliers who are able to demonstrate to an auditor that they are able to produce safe and legal food. Suppliers must also show they are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard.

It is a non-profit making joint venture founded by the four main trade associations representing the UK Food Chain, the scheme is operated by The Institute of Food Science and Technology throughout the UK.
